Let’s get spooky, Halloween is almost here!!!
I love setting up for this month – autumn is fully on with its misty mornings and leaves falling of the trees. What better way to celebrate fall than curling up with a cuppa and our journals?
I must admit, I completely fell in love with this square grid Leuchtturm! It’s amazing and also better for practising your handwriting.
YES!! A new monthly doodle is here and you can get yours in our library 🙂 Is it too creepy? Hehe, it seems perfect for Halloween. Enjoy colouring this page and feel free to tag me in your pictures over the social media – I love seeing your creations and would love to feature them in my future posts!
As always, we are welcoming a new month with a monthly log and October goals divided into three categories – Business, Home & Family, Personal (lettering done with my favourite Tombow Fudesuke hard brush pen). Mini monthly calendar is back on my spread this month, I was missing it in September’s setup! Now & then is a section for your monthly tasks and future projects/appointments.
On this monthly review page we are focusing on reflecting on our accomplishments and things we can improve – if you are lost and don’t know what to write in here, look at your monthly goals. Have you completed what you intended to? And take it from there 😉
Spooky October page sounds so adorable! It’s a memory/gratitude page and you can draw, write, letter, paint etc. anything you feel like had a great impact on your life in here. Had a wonderful day out with your loved one? Stick a picture of you two here! There are no limits.
Indeed, there is something missing – my monthly fountain pen ink log! Yep, I forgot to create one 😀 But I might keep the same inks throughout this journal, we shall see.
Noticed something new here? You are right! I have added a monthly schedule that I used before as a weekly schedule to help with my appointments and important projects – this was to highlight the most important task of the day and it worked very well. As you can see, there are four numbered weeks and you can schedule anything you like in here, e.g. workouts, meal planning, meetings, class exams, traveling schedule.
On the right page, there is a monthly mood tracker – falling leaves are for tracking my morning mood and the pumpkins are for how I feel in the evening. On a project life card is a colour code using various Tombow dual brush pens – my favourite at the moment is number 942(tan) 🙂
I will be posting a picture on Instagram once it is all finished so be sure to check it out!
October has 4 weeks – each weekly layout is exactly the same. You can add your own decorations, ideas, colour themes etc. This layout works the best for me and I am sticking to it. For now 😉
